Halloween!

Halloween was a spooktacular time at the Rousehouse!
Is there really a better holiday than one that allows you
to dress up and eat a bunch of candy? I think not!

We hosted our 2nd annual Rousehouse Family Halloween party.
I think it was a great success!
We invited several of the girls friends and their families.
We carved pumpkins, played several games, and enjoyed
our new patio wonderland, complete with couches,
fire pit and 2 heat lamps!!
Dave and I had a great time decorating together and
I had a blast trying some new Halloween recipes.
I think we've found a new tradition!

Family pumpkin carving/decorating.  Always a big hit!

Dave and Avery worked together this year  ~

Some of the girls doing some crafts.  Such a sweet group of girls!

My mummy spinach dip.  Totally fun to make!

Yes, I made all of this, mostly!  I had a lot of fun with the
witches fingers and mummies!

All the kiddos after the skeleton hunt ~

The Liskeys also hosted their 2nd annual Family Halloween Party.
Yes, there is room for two in our wild bunch!
We had a great time playing games and painting pumpkins outside,
and then warming up with some yummy chili.

Apple bobbing for the next generation ~

The 3-legged race was hilarious to watch!

I had the great privilege of judging the applesauce slurping contest.
Good times!

On top of all the partying, we had lots of fun trick or treating
and dressing up.
What a fun time of year, and what a blessing to have such
great friends to celebrate with!
