Today we were driving in the car, listening to the Fabulous Traidmarx (one of our favorite bands!).
Ella's favorite song was playing, California Girl, and she began assigning "names" to everyone in the car.
Ella was a "California Girl"
Claire was a "Swim Girl"
Avery was a "Sunshine Girl"
Ella asked me what kind of girl I thought I was.
To which I replied, "I think I'm a California Girl, like you".
Avery's response, "No, mom. You're a dog."
Nice.
