Fall Tradition #1-Howell's Pumpkin Patch

One of our favorite fall traditions: Howell's Pumpkin Patch!

Nothing says my favorite time of year is here like the pumpkin patch!

It's also one of my favorite photo sites!  

The girls just look so beautiful in the fall air.

Mud pies have become a favorite activity!

Every year we measure up on the growth chart!

Things got a little crazy in the corn pen! 

We came home with something extra this year.  A Wooly Bear Caterpillar!

Last day of school!!

Lunches packed. Backpacks on. Pictures taken. Hugs and Kisses given. Carpools gone. 

Mama left home alone to reflect on this tough, but totally awesome, year! 

This year has been such a huge adjustment with all 3 girls in school. 

Big changes for Claire, going to MS. Big adjustment for Ella, going to public school. 

Huge change for Avery, going to Kindergarten. Life-changing year for mama, left home alone! 

After several months adjusting, I can say that I couldn't be happier! 

The girls did so great this year! They changed, some for the worse, mostly for the best! 

Ella found her voice! Avery found some friends and book smarts. 

Claire found even more awesome things to do. 

I found out that I have some cool, and different, things to offer to life. 

All my worries, my fears, my anxiety. It wasn't necessary!

My girls are stronger, smarter, tougher, happier, all around more awesome

than I give them credit for!

Today, they are 180 days smarter!

Bring on summer break!! I can't wait to enjoy the laughing,

fighting, playing, swimming, and all things summer with my

beautiful girls!!

Shuler Fall Harvest Parties!

To cap off our Halloween season we celebrated at Shuler's Fall Harvest parties!

Ella had a great time dressing up with her friends and playing games.

They even did a costume parade around school!

This was Avery's first school party and she thought is was pretty awesome!

Too bad you can't decorate cookies everyday in Kindergarten!

Trick or Treating - Big kid style!

This year, Claire decided that they wanted to go trick or treating

with her friends.... and not her dad.

What?!?  I guess the pre-teen is officially here.

So, I agreed, as long as they met at our house and hung

out for a bit afterward.

We invited our dear friends, The Peters, over as well for

a pizza dinner before hand.

Once everyone was fed and dressed, we sent the big girls

off on their own, and Dave took the middles and the little!

LHF Halloween!

As always, one of our favorite Fall Traditions!

Living History Farms Halloween!

This year we went with some great family friends, The Twedts.

Owen is Avery's BFF (and future husband!) and 

Anna is one of Ella's dear friends.

Plus, Dave and I love Dan and Becky, so it's a great group!

I am so grateful for all the wonderful people in our

lives and the great opportunities and traditions that we

get to share together!

WAC Silver Haunted Halloween!

Ella's softball team had a scary good time getting ready to 

play in a local Halloween Themed tournament.

They had to design costumes and decorate their dugout.

We decided on "A Haunted Post-it Note Factory"

The whole team came to our house to decorate signs

and make their shirts.  What a great group of girls!

Fall = Pumpkin Fun!

Fall is one of my favorite times of year

and Howell's is one of my favorite places to visit!

We also have so much fun with our great family friends!

I love looking back each year at how much they've all grown!
